Our year-long Sustainably Farmed Food program gives our subscribers customized access to our organic farm connections every week of the year. Eating fresh has never been so easy! Join our Sustainably Farmed Food (SFF) program, a CSA-style food share subscription, to get a bag filled with organically grown and ethically raised food items every week. We have shares that are customized to a number of dietary restrictions and cravings. Shares can be picked up every week from 6pm Thursday to Sunday. This program is not intended to be a meal subscription service. It is modeled after a traditional Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. Your weekly bag isn’t likely to create multiple whole meals for you, but it will provide produce for several meal sides or one large, cohesive meal. There will be a rotating mix of vegetables, fruits, and herbs. Through this program, we provide you with a delicious mix of well-known foods and fun new things to try! All shares include organically grown fruits and vegetables and locally grown products when available. Half Shares feed approximately 2-3 people for 3 meals per week while Full Shares feed 4-5 people for 3 meals per week. Produce selections change seasonally. Sustainably Farmed Food (SFF) Share Plans Food shares feeds approximately 1-2 (half share) or 3-4 (full share) people who plan to prepare meals with their shares around 3 times a week. Sustainably Farmed Food (SFF) Shares & Add-ons Share add-ons should be considered as a full share, or have specific quantities listed per share. *Traditional cheesemaking practices utilize multiple animal products to coagulate, age, preserve, and/or protect cheese. Not all of our cheeses are completely free of animal products and therefore may not be considered fully vegetarian. Sustinably Farmed Food Share FAQs Our Sustainably Farmed Food (SFF) program is based on traditional Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) programs in which a small farm grows food, pre-sells the food to customers, and delivers that food on a weekly basis as it gets harvested. With our SFF program, we pass on the benefits of our wholesale farm connections to get great tasting organically grown produce and ethically raised meat, cheese, and eggs to your table! What makes our SFF program so innovative is that we’re pooling the resources of a number of family farms, ranches, and food artisans throughout Utah and the region. Instead of the bounty from just one producer, we put together a variety of CCOFcertified organic, organically grown, and locally grown seasonal produce along with other sustainably farmed foods. Our SFF program supports sustainable agriculture, offers unique variety, and passes along the cost savings to our customers. The produce will vary from week to week, but will always include around seven seasonal fresh vegetables and occasionally fresh fruit. The items delivered are determined by Mother Nature. We’ll check in with our producers regularly to find out what’s ripe and what’s fresh and then get it to you right after it’s picked. Each week you will receive an email detailing the contents of your next bag along with recipe ideas. A full share works best for families of 4 or more or for those who enjoy more vegetables in their daily cooking. A half share is perfect for couples, singles, or smaller families. Our SFF members will also get exclusive access to educational and social events happening at our Liberty Heights Fresh store. SFF members enroll in a 13-week, 6-week, or week-by-week option of delicious, fresh food. Visit our cheese counter in the store each week to take home your share. Not always. Here
